Accessibility

Last updated June 27, 2026

OASIS Advocacy Solutions, LLC (“OASIS,” “we,” “us”) is building a tool for families navigating special-education advocacy — people who are often already carrying a great deal. Access is not a feature we add at the end; it is part of what the product is for. We are committed to making getoasis.ai and the OASIS application usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.

Adjust how text looks

These settings are saved on this device and apply across OASIS. Your browser's own zoom and your system's reduced-motion and contrast settings are always respected too.

Text size

Tip: for even larger text on every screen, use your browser's zoom (⌘/Ctrl and +).

Reading aids
Interaction confirmation

Optional extra confirmation when OASIS accepts an action — handy on slower steps like reading a section, so you know your tap registered. Both are off by default and work alongside the on-screen and screen-reader confirmation, never instead of it. These are separate from your motion setting.

Vibration isn't available in this browser or on this device, so there's nothing to turn on here. (It works mainly on Android phones; iPhones and most computers don't offer it to web pages.)

Our standard

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as our floor — not our ceiling. Where a higher (AAA) provision is low-cost to honor, such as offering an adjustable, higher-contrast reading mode, we do so.

What we do

  • Build on semantic HTML and native controls so keyboard and screen-reader users get correct roles, names, and states.
  • Support keyboard-only navigation, with visible focus indicators that also survive Windows High Contrast mode.
  • Honor your system preferences for reduced motion and increased contrast, and offer an in-app text-and-contrast adjustment panel.
  • Run an automated accessibility check (axe-core, against WCAG 2.2 AA) on every change in our continuous-integration pipeline, alongside a strict accessibility linter — any critical or serious violation blocks the change from shipping.
  • Use no accessibility overlay or widget. We do not install accessiBe, AudioEye, UserWay, or any similar overlay. These products do not reliably fix access barriers and can interfere with the assistive technology you already use. We fix the underlying code instead.

Where we are honest about limits

Automated testing catches only a portion of real accessibility issues, so we pair it with manual review using assistive technology. That manual review is ongoing, and some surfaces are still being assessed. The current experience is built for desktop-width screens first; a fully responsive layout is on our near-term roadmap. We would rather tell you what is not yet verified than claim conformance we have not confirmed.

We are also building OASIS to serve California families in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, and Punjabi. Interface text is being localized across these languages; legal and advocacy documents are provided in English and Spanish, with machine-assisted translations clearly labeled as such until human review is complete.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter anything that is hard or impossible to use, please tell us — your report is the fastest way we learn what to fix. Email info@getoasis.ai with the page or feature, what happened, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you know it. We aim to respond within five business days.
